Thursday at the mall

 .I usually tag along when my Aunt runs her errands. She's also got an amazing eye for home decor.

My aunt's place

So the name of the mall escapes me but it was a lovely little place that had an old fashioned European city look to it. Roamed around and had a little lunch (baked potato that was heavenly). I got some stuffed toys (a saint Bernard and a blue poodle) for my lil nieces 

Observations at 30, 000 feet

Chinese men seem to be rather impatient. Of course, one mustn't be presumptuous and assume all Chinese men have this trait nor that this is a particularly awful trait to have (you all know my embarrassingly low level of patience). Still, it was amusing when the flight attendant stopped them from smoking. When travelling alone, one tries to find amusement where one can, after all!

Seeing Tom Hanks star opposite a big, beautiful, slobering mastiff in Turner and Hooch (when I was 11) was an awesome experience. He was hilarious in the dark comedy 'The Burbs, heart breaking in the true story 'Philidelphia', and refreshing as a gentle Russian stuck in an airport in 'The Terminal'. Yes, we all love Tom Hanks. Apparently so does Saudis Airlines as he's got his own category!
