So..I finished with Dexter, up to and including season 6, ep 1....here is what I am up to now:
1. I'm downloading "The Office"..I've watched til about season 5 (it was a couple years ago, but I really enjoyed it, being a fan of the original Brit series) so am downloading S6...
2. I started reading the Naruto manga online...from the beginning as I don't want to spoil it for myself...I see what you meant about reading it right to left Naushy, it had me confused for a bit...
3. I'm downloading a game called "Eden Eternal"...It's sorta like Warcraft meets Anime...Tho I'm not sure my internet would be fast enough for it, but we'll see..Also, it's free so that bit's appealing :D
on a side note, I ran for 20 mins today, 1.2 km....Feels good :)

I've never watched "The Office"... it's supposed to a comedy right?
ReplyDeleteI tried reading the Naruto manga online too from the beginning, but I don't think I enjoyed it too much. Like you said, the anime is really just a copy of the manga, just animated. Personally, I enjoy the anime much more, even after reading all the claims on the net that the manga is a way better experience.
Eden Eternal sounds interesting... Warcraft meets Anime. How do you like it so far?
Excellent Job on the Wight Loss Department! I wasn't able to do anything over the weekend, and most of my Friday was spent correcting test papers and planning for the week.
Yeah, it's comedy, but very different from the all the others...no laugh-track and its shot documentary style...HILARIOUS tho..
ReplyDeleteEden Eternal is interesting..awesome graphics and effects...a lot of questing like warcraft but the avatars look totally anime..A lil overwhelming, I played it once and its super fast..would be a lot more fun to check it out with a friend (hint hint!)

Tho I did run today for 16 mins, 1.1 km...AND I was careful about food today, sis got mcdonalds for me, I threw away the fries and the top bun of the burger and ate the rest..then i had some boilin tea, hopin it'll melt the fat...Prolly the only thing i accomplished was burnin my tongue :/
I've started to download Eden Eternal, and hope that it works on my laptop (My PC is way older). I checked out the System Requirements of the game, and it says that you need at least nVidia GeForce FX 5200 or ATI Radeon 9600, which I don't think I have... but let's see what happens after the download. I've never played something like this before so I might need a little bit of help...

OK so... I've downloaded the game, registered on the site, and then created a character. Five minutes into the game, my laptop suddenly shuts down without warning. I tried turning on immediately but it shuts down again literally after two seconds. Panic Mode... So I wait 20 minutes and Thank God, my laptop opens without any problems.
ReplyDeleteSo I do a quick search about why this might be happening and it says that my laptop's lack of a dedicated Graphics Video Card can't handle the graphics in the game, so it shuts down. I remember while buying the laptop that the salesperson specifically mentioning that you can't play high-end games on this machine. I even checked out my laptop's configuration and guess what, it doesn't even have a Graphics Card. Real Bummer, because the game did appear highly interesting, and the sort of thing I usually end up enjoying.
Let's see what happens when I test it out with you tomorrow, and hope it doesn't shut down.
